Description

This is the US 2018 Version of this calendar.

Price Reflected is 50% off (original price is $25.00)

In this second of two calendars designs presented for 2018, we feature anthropologist, historian, researcher, author and world traveller Dr. Runoko Rashidi’s stunning photography taken at various museums and temples along the Nile Valley and throughout the world. This calendar presents thirteen beautiful photographs. It is saturated with color and texture, and is for those who enjoy a big, bold look.  It’s important to note it has a contemporary layout where the days of the month read from top of the page to bottom, rather than from left of the page to right.

This calendar tracks only African-focused birth dates and events of importance within the U.S and other areas of the African diaspora. U.S. holidays and events are only noted as “U.S. Event” or “U.S. Observance” on their respective dates.

Each month has a quote or description by Dr. Rashidi of that month’s featured photograph. Printed on quality stock, it is designed as a keepsake, where the photographs can later be removed, framed and enjoyed beyond 2018.

The Nile Valley 2018 calendar featuring images by Dr. Runoko Rashidi, is the most culturally relevant and unique calendar I’ve ever owned. The quality is excellent, and the images are vibrant, large in size, and worthy of framing. The descriptions next to each image are also quite enlightening. Every person of African descent should definitely own one. This calendar is truly a keepsake. Simply stated, I LOVE IT! 💖💖💖

Greetings Sister Cathy McClelland, and thank you for your comment! We are so pleased that your
calendar arrived timely, and that you have found it to be the beautiful and quality product we
described it to be. The Ta-Seti Foundation takes great care in the products we produce, and we
thank you for supporting Dr. Rashidi’s work and this Foundation’s mission
      with your purchase.

The Ta-Seti Foundation’s online order form is a snap to complete. Delivery of the “Diasporal Gifts of Knowledge Calendar Series” was timely despite the holiday shipping season. I received a prompt confirmation email and periodic delivery updates. Each calendar features its own collection of images from Dr. Runoko Rashidi’s global travels. This design (Option 2) also features holidays and birthdates of our noted scholars in the rightmost column.

The first thing I noticed when I opened my package was the seamless full-page layout of the calendar and featured image for each month. There are no folds or staples separating the two sections. Those who enjoy Dr. Rashidi’s “Global African Presence” photography will be pleased to own one or both of these calendar designs. There are other features that set this collection apart from your run-of-the-mill calendar. But I’ll let you delight in discovering them.

Sister Donna P. Haines, we are so pleased that you are satisfied with your experience ordering on our shop as well
as the quality of the products you purchased! Our partnership with Dr. Rashidi made these calendars extraordinarily
wonderful. It was our honor and privilege to be able to work together to present the beautiful illustrations and
knowledge contained within both collectors calendars. The members of our design team have been involved in either
traveling with Dr. Rashidi or are students of his “Global African Presence” online courses. This was our method of
showing appreciation and sharing the “Diasporal Gifts of Knowledge” with the masses as a means of preserving and
presenting our story. We are thrilled you are satisfied with all of the ‘extras’ as well. Blessed love, my sister!
